Prime Minister of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) Zoran Zaev will travel to Turkey on Sunday for a two-day visit.
Zaev will visit Turkey after an invitation by his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim, it was announced on Friday. According to Anadolu agency, the two men will discuss bilateral and regional issues.
“One of the most fundamental elements of the strong brotherhood between the two countries is our compatriots living in Macedonia,” said a statement from the Turkish prime minister’s office.
The statement also said Ankara supports FYROM’s ambitions for accession to the EU and NATO.
