Turkey’s Embassy has bought a new building in the center of Athens, at 11 Vasileos Pavlou street for its operational needs. According to the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet, the building was purchased for €18 million from the Andreadis family.
“The building at 11 Vasileos Pavlou street, which was purchased in 2011, is the one that Christina Onassi entered as a bride,” the newspaper reported, pointing out that, “this building belongs to Turkey now.”
According to the newspaper, the Turkish Foreign Minister might inaugurate the building of 1,300 square meters after his visit to Thessaloniki on August 8, “in order to participate in the first prayer of the Bairam in a mosque that Giannis Boutaris will operate.
